Garlic Infused Olive Oil - Native to Middle Asia and the Mediterranean, garlic is a bit of a mystery; is it a herb, spice or vegetable? Actually, garlic is from the lily family which includes onions, shallots and leeks. Garlic is known for its pungent aroma and spicy taste, made more caramelly and mellow by roasting or sauteing. Garlic is the mainstay of cuisines around the world and nearly indispensable along with onions in just about every culture’s cooking. Use this deceptively simple yet delightfully infused olive oil in any and all of your meat and vegetable dishes, in salads, for dipping crusty bread or drizzling over the crust of pizza before baking.

Don't forget the healthy stuff! GARLIC is widely used for several conditions linked to the blood system and heart, including atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), high cholesterol, heart attack, coronary heart disease, and hypertension and used for the prevention of lung cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, stomach cancer, rectal cancer. Diallyl sulfide, a compound in garlic, was 100 times more effective than two popular antibiotics in fighting the Campylobacter bacterium, a condition which afflicts many diabetes sufferers.
