Just as an olive grower tends to the trees—patiently pruning, watering, and waiting for the harvest—we are called to cultivate the soil of our hearts. It’s through stillness and attentiveness that we begin to hear God’s voice clearly.
Think of the olive tree: it thrives in rocky soil, endures heat, and still produces fruit that becomes something precious—extra virgin olive oil, a symbol of blessing, light, and healing throughout Scripture.
When we slow down to listen to God, we allow our souls to bear fruit, even amid difficulty. Every act of love, forgiveness, and obedience becomes like drops of oil pressed from the heart—pure, fragrant, and pleasing to the Lord.
“Blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it.” — Luke 11:27–28
